The outpouring of support for our family and for Miles has been incredibly humbling and overwhelming.

The Reed family put on their annual softball tournament in south county in honor of Miles over Father’s Day weekend. Men from our local community played in tribute to Miles as team “Don’t Stop Believen”. More touching than their financial contribution was their families gift to both boys. Signed Giants baseballs, significant Giants gameballs, and a signed bat.

The Reed family knows about fighting cancer all too well. Their son recently finished fighting cancer for the second time and it turns out that he and Miles share some of the same nurses. They have stayed in the same rooms, seen the same healthcare professionals, and even rang the same bell.

Cancer is a club you don’t want to be a part of, but the members are pretty awesome.
