OCT 25 - A NEW HOME

We have spent the last few days settling into our new home. The generosity of our community, family and friends has allowed us to stay in a place close to both treatment locations.

As we are settling in we all have our priorities. Bradley - safety, knowing Joy knows and understands direct traffic routes. Joy - cleaning supplies and opportunities to move. Miles - fishing and all things fun.

It hasn’t all been fun for Smiling Miles. He’s had another surgery, blood draws, made a radiation mask, more blood draws and his FIFTH COVId swab today. You want to see his fighting spirit - give him a COVID swab. I stopped apologizing to the nurses when I realized this was the energy that he has and will need over the coming weeks.

In the meantime - we have a good fishing spot - we just hope the fish don’t put up the same kind of fight.
