1st Post Treatment Scans

Dear Cancer,

Miles had his first post-treatment scans and tests this last week and guess what? There is no new evidence of disease! He continues to kick your ass.

A random woman approached Miles this week and said to him, “You’re a survivor! What did you beat?”

Without hesitation Miles replied “Brain cancer!”.

The definition of a survivor is a person who copes with a bad situation or affliction and who gets through.

Miles hasn’t just gotten through, or coped, this warrior continues to win each battle.

But again, thank you cancer - for once again proving that we are all survivors and tougher than you.

Miles is headed to the Siskiyou Golden Fair this week with his 4H project. Through all of his battles - he’s really looked forward to this summer’s fair. Here’s to battling, surviving, working hard, and continuing to kick ass.
