Puppy Therapy - Meet Charlee!

Baseball and a puppy. All in one day. Can life be any better?

Today (2/24/21) Miles had a chemo infusion in Medford. Carter was gearing up for an actual baseball game in the same town - and Bradley was scheduled to pick up Charlee.

I texted Sage last night because I realized that even though we have been visiting Charlee for the last seven weeks - I never actually confirmed payment. Sage didn’t really answer but said she wanted to FaceTime us when Bradley picked her up.

She FaceTimed us with Charlee wearing a custom made sign announcing that Charlee was a gift from so many people. Along with an assortment of doggie products and more generosity.

I was a sobbing mess on the FaceTime and Bradley cried in person. Your generosity is humbling, but the greatest gift of all is that Charlee brings out the best in Miles. Smiling Miles is back.

Baseball is back too and we all got to enjoy the evening together - watching the game. Baseball and puppies, brings out the best in all of us.
