Roller Coaster

Cancer is an extreme roller coaster ride. An adventure that we didn’t even know we bought tickets for - but we’ve experienced the highs and lows - every climb - every dip all together.

Sunday’s roller coaster was thrilling and then terrifying. We spent the majority of the early afternoon and evening soaking up love from our community. Later that evening Miles spiked a fever and we ended up being admitted in Medford to treat an infection.

Looking back we think Miles didn’t feel well all day Sunday - but being the warrior he is he didn’t let on to his discomfort. He was enjoying the thrill of the ride.

As of Tuesday afternoon his condition has improved greatly and we hope to be home Wednesday.

We will continue to click along the tracks of cancer as we battle up, roll down, and always find the joy in the ride - even when it’s terrifying.
