Regaining his Spirit

When Carter and Miles were invited to attend a virtual version of a summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings - I was pretty skeptical of just how impactful a “Zoom” version of camp could be.
When a canvas style bag for each boy arrived at our home packed with labeled and detailed FUN - my expectations began to shift and one day in and I’m sold.
Unfortunately - we are in the hospital yet again (no WBC/fever/needing blood)- but this time we’ve also been at camp. We continue to battle in this fight for his life - but man it’s been good to see HIM again - to see his spirit.
It’s too bad the boys can’t experience the real live camp UKANDU this summer - but then again maybe it’s a good thing to break in the staff to the 2D version of Smiling Miles - so they’re prepared to handle his true spirit - live next year.
